Don’t you hate it when businesses think they can just slap together some terms and conditions and then not even follow them correctly? It peeves me off, I tell ya!
In New Zealand recently, a radio station hosted a competition to win a trip to the races. Nowhere in the terms and conditions did it state there was an age restriction. So when a 43 year old man was told he COULDN’T use the prize because he was TOO OLD, there was a bit of an uproar!
You can find out what happened here!
I’ve found an awesome prize for you that most certainly fits into the low entry category!
Portal to Fantasy is a new website launching soon (for readers of fantasy books) and to celebrate, they’re giving away a 16-GB iPad Mini 4!!
Currently, when you divide the entries by the number of possible entry methods per person, there are roughly only 500 people that have entered this giveaway at the time of this post (good numbers for a tech prize). It’s still open for a week, so get in quick! Open worldwide 😀
Different countries have some very unique laws surrounding competitions and sweepstakes. Marden-Kane Digital Promotions has quite an interesting write-up on the subject, listing different countries and their lesser-known rules.
A good example is that in Sweden, all games of chance are banned! (but skilled-based competitions are allowed – sounds right up my alley, maybe I should move to Sweden!).

ONLY 8 ENTRIES SO FAR!!
Enter now to win one of two hard copies of “Creating a Capsule Wardrobe: A Guide for Real Women with Real Budgets” by Claire Collins & Ellen Bradshaw. At the time of this post there is a 1 in 4 chance of winning the competition, heck yeh!
Not only that, but this competition is a game of skill (requiring a comment on their blog post) so a decently written entry will have you damn close to a win.
Hi there guys!
Do you ever get stuck when coming up with a good creative answer for a competition? I have a great website for you!
Winspiration.co.uk has been around for a long, long time (it’s more of an archive these days and I’m so glad the owner is keeping it alive still after all these years). It’s a brilliant resource for when you need a little bit of extra inspiration. You’ll find winning competition answers, suggested words and phrases for various types of competitions and more.
One tip though, make sure you’re not COPYING these directly for your own use. They’re just to give you ideas, not to steal!

I hope it proves to be a great resource for you, I know it is for me!
